NPCC Promotes Quality Control Practices to Boost MSME Productivity

The National Productivity Centre of Cambodia (NPCC) of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) organized a training course on “Quality Control Cycles for MSME Productivity and Excellence in Cambodia” from January 13–17, 2026, a project implemented through Technical Expert Services of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO).

The program brought together 40 participants, representing private companies and enterprises and NPCC officials and consultants. Participating firms included KTH FOOD, Epic Chips Cambodia, and Kirisu Farm (Kirirom Production), reflecting strong private-sector engagement in productivity improvement initiatives.

Building on the training, Japanese expert Mr. Hideki Tabuchi, Senior Consultant at Japan Development Service Co., Ltd., provided specialized onsite consultancy from January 19–21, 2026, offering practical guidance on applying quality control tools within real production environments.

The initiative aimed to strengthen NPCC’s technical capacity in productivity tools and promote their wider adoption among factories, enterprises, and handicraft businesses nationwide.
