On Tuesday morning, January 8, 2020 KhmerSME and ASEAN Access team organized the official launch of the ASEAN Access MATCH “Asian Cross-Border Business Match Forum” in order to raise public awareness to enterprises Small and Medium SMEs (SMEs) business owners, associations and business agencies and to promote the use of the digital pathway for business to business (B2B). As well as sharing the khmerSME website and ASEAN Access website to the public and small and medium business owners to have a deeper understanding of these two sites.

Through the ASEAN Access MATCH, the National Focal Points (NFPs) and ASEAN Access Network Partners (NPs) can organize and participate in virtual matchmaking events, webinars and online networking activities (free of charge) for SMEs in the ten ASEAN Members States (AMSs) who wish to trade beyond borders, either in ASEAN or beyond the region.

The official launch of ASEAN Access MATCH is implement under the ASEAN-German cooperation project on Strengthening Regional Structures for Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion in ASEAN (ASEAN-SME), the ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME) with the support of German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in further developing ASEAN Access as well as offering additional support for business internationalization process and proactively help them enter new markets.
